1 Peter 2:11-12 "Live Honorably"

Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. 12 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation.

  • Faith receives from God. Love delivers to our neighbor.
  • This is not our home.
  • We are saints and sinners at the same time.
  • We will be tempted and attacked by the devil.
  • We will be accused and vilified by the world, but don’t give them reason to accuse.
  • Our desire is that others will come to know Jesus through our love and kind words.
