If you’d like a thorough dive into slavery in the Bible, I recommend watching the following video by Mike Winger (Bible Thinker). He does an excellent job of addressing what the Scriptures say about slavery and giving the historical context.
Note – Mike has a lot of videos about various topics. He generally does a great job of researching Scripture and trying to “think Biblically” (Bible Thinker). There are a few areas of doctrine (teaching) that I would disagree with him, like baptism and communion. So, I can’t fully endorse all his videos, but most of his videos are right on and even those where he’s not, may still be worth watching to understand Christians with his perspective.
