Next, let’s spend some time in prayer.
Heavenly Father,
This life is filled with strife, violence, and war. Continue to bring peace into this world and please give me peace in my life. I thank and praise You that You I have peace with You through Christ. Help me to to have peace with my family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors as well. Help me to forgive when I am harmed or offended and to be forgiven when I harm or offend others.
(Take this time to pray whatever is on your heart.)
The Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name,
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever.
