Ephesians 1 tells us,

“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world …”

God’s plan can be seen throughout history as recorded in the Old Testament. Unfortunately, if you’ve ever read a book about the Old Testament, did a Bible study, or even went to Sunday school as a kid, you probably heard it taught as lessons for how you should live. Far too often, the Old Testament is turned into a series of morality tales.

However, the greater story of the Old Testament is seeing how God worked His plan for our salvation and even foreshadowed Jesus.
