Welcome
Invocation
Confession and Forgiveness:
P: Come into the presence of the Lord our God.
C: Have mercy, O Lord. If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand; but if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(A time of silence to reflect and personally confess our sins)
P: I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. Let us confess our sin before the Lord. Let us confess together.
C: Heavenly Father, we confess that we are sinners. We have sinned against you and our neighbors. We have not loved you with our whole heart and we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We justly deserve Your punishment. For the sake of Your Son, Jesus Christ, have mercy on us. Forgive us, renew us, and lead us, so that we may delight in Your will and walk in Your ways to the glory of Your holy name. Amen.
P: (Words of Forgiveness)
C: Thanks and Praise be to the Lord, God! Amen.
Song of Praise and Thanksgiving – Forever
Give thanks to the Lord our God and King. His love endures forever.
For He is good, He is above all things, His love endures forever.
Sing praise! Sing praise!
With a mighty hand and outstretched arm, His love endures forever
For the life that’s been reborn, His love endures forever.
Pre-Chorus:
Sing praise! Sing praise! Sing praise! Sing praise!
Chorus:
Forever God is faithful. Forever God is strong
Forever God is with us. Forever. Forever
From the rising to the setting sun, His love endures forever.
And by the grace of God we will carry on. His love endures forever.
(Pre-Chorus)

Message Reading: Luke 17:11-19
On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance and lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” When he saw them he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed. Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; and he fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. Then Jesus answered, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” And he said to him, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.”
P: This is the Gospel of the Lord.
C: Praise be to You, O Christ.
Children’s Message – “It’s not just about good manners”
Sermon – “Stopping, Turning, and Giving Thanks”

Because of what the Lord has done for us.

Litany of Thanksgiving: Text in prayer requests to (813) 326-5255
P: O Lord, open my lips,
C: And my mouth will declare Your praise.
P: Make haste, O God, to deliver me;
C: Make haste to help me, O Lord.
All: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.
P: Holy and most gracious Father in heaven, your mercies shower down upon us each and every day, without any merit or worthiness on our part; and so we pause this morning to give thanks and praise to You for the vast abundance of your gifts:
Reading 1 – Ephesians 2:19-22
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
L: Heavenly Father, For Your holy Church and holy ministry, for the preaching of the good news of Jesus Christ for the salvation of the world, for the regenerating and renewing washing of Holy Baptism, for the Supper of our Savior’s body and blood, for His absolving words of forgiveness, for brothers and sisters to encourage, correct, and love us,
C: We give you thanks, O Lord.
(Personal prayer of thankgiving for the church)
P: Give thanks to the Lord for He is good.
C: His love endures forever.
Reading 2 – Titus 3:4-7
But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
L: Heavenly Father, For the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ; for His incarnation, His perfect obedience under the Law, His suffering and death, His resurrection and ascension to the right hand of Majesty, and for His gracious reign over all things for our blessing, For the Holy Spirit and your holy Word, for steadfast faith in Jesus Christ, for the full pardon for our sins, for the promised inheritance of eternal life,
C: We give you thanks, O Lord.
(Personal prayer of thanksgiving for God’s grace and how He works in our lives)
P: Give thanks to the Lord for He is good.
C: His love endures forever.
Song – O Praise The Name (Anástasis)
I cast my mind to Calvary Where Jesus bled and died for me.
I see His wounds, His hands, His feet.
My Savior on that cursed tree.
His body bound and drenched in tears.
They laid Him down in Joseph’s tomb.
The entrance sealed by heavy stone, Messiah still and all alone.
Chorus:
O praise the Name of the Lord our God.
O praise His Name forevermore.
For endless days, we will sing Your praise,
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God.
Then on the third, at break of dawn,
The Son of heaven rose again.
O trampled death, where is your sting.
The angels roar for Christ the King.

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father.
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not.
As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be.
Chorus:
Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand has provided.
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul, Worship His holy name.
Sing like never before, 0 my soul. I’ll worship Your holy name.
The sun comes up, it’s a new day dawning;
It’s time to sing Your song again.
Whatever may pass, and whatever lies before me,
Let me be singing when the evening comes.
(Chorus)
You’re rich in love, and You’re slow to anger.
Your name is great, and Your heart is kind.
For all Your goodness, I will keep on singing;
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find.

I’ll worship Your holy name. Yes, I’ll worship Your holy name.

Closing Song – Gratitude (sit)
All my words fall short. I got nothing new.
How could I express all my gratitude?
I could sing these songs, as I often do
But every song must end and You never do
Chorus:
So I throw up my hands and praise You again and again
‘Cause all that I have is a Hallelujah. Hallelujah!
And I know it’s not much but I’ve nothing else fit for a King
Except for a heart singing, Hallelujah Hallelujah
I’ve got one response. I’ve got just one move
With my arm stretched wide, I will worship You
(Chorus)
Bridge:
So come on, my soul, oh, don’t you get shy on me. Lift up your song,
‘Cause you’ve got a lion inside of those lungs
Get up and praise the Lord
(Repeat 2x)
