Praying for Specific People You Know Need Jesus

When talking about mission and evangelism there is a lot of focus on things like how to share the Gospel and how to connect with people. These things are good, but I believe prayer is even more important.

Prayer is powerful. When we realize that God is the one who changes people and creates faith in their hearts (not our brilliant presentation of the Gospel), we can see how important prayer is in the mission of the church. It is the first and possibly most important part of what we do for the mission of the church.

Today: Make a list of some people you know who you don’t think believe in Jesus. Start praying for them every day (more if you’d like) that they would receive faith.
