What do you like to think about? Where do you focus your mind?
There is so much negativity in the world. I think there are some political pundits that can’t see anything good in the world or others.
It can be easy to descend into the negativity. It can be easy to start to assume the worst about others, but that’s not good. There’s also so much in this world that pushes us to sin.
How do we combat that?
Heavenly Father,
Protect me from the messages of the world around me. Guard my mind and give me the strength to give up that which is pushing me towards sin. Draw me to Your Word every day. Focus my mind on You and Your promises and help me to see others as You see them.

I will exalt you, my God the King;

but all the wicked he will destroy.
21 My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord.

How To Use These Posts
The Other Six is a short, daily devotional blog post. You can use these posts for personal devotions, however, I’m also going to write them in such a way that you could use them for family devotions.
