Heavenly Father,
The church faces political strife throughout the world. In some places, people risk their lives to worship You. In others, people risk ridicule and social pressure to boldly live as Your followers. Thank You that our hope does not lie in politics or political leaders for they would surely fail us time and time again. Help me to always remember that You are my true King and You have already won the victory. Help me to live faithfully and boldly as a citizen of the Kingdom of God even in the face of political and social pressure.

Heavenly Father,
Lord, You are the source of ultimate freedom. You give freedom from obtaining my righteousness through my works, something I could never have done. You free me from the bondage of sin, always giving me a way to escape temptation. You forgive me when I fail to follow that way out. You free me to love and serve You as well as love and serve others in Your name. You free me from death and condemnation and You have freed me to be in Your presence, making me free to pray, to approach Your glorious throne.
Thank You for the liberty and freedom that You give.

Lord of lords and King of kings. You are holy and righteous and I am not. I am a sinner, unclean and unworthy of being in Your presence. Yet, You sent Your Son to die for me to take away my sins and make me righteous. On top of that, You call me one of Your people, even Your child.
Thank You! Thank You for making me Yours. Thank You for inviting me and welcoming me into Your gates and into Your courts. I will enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise!!

Heavenly Father,
Everything You do is good. You ways are good and Your will is good.
